Wiglington and Wenks New Trainee Party Masters and Scouts! (Batch 2)

Hello Quest Travelers,

A few weeks ago,Mysweetie and Test accepted the responsibility to help keep WW safe as trainee scouts. And as mentioned, new trainees will be announced soon after.

Last week, the WW team sent PMs to a couple of travelers as an invitation to take on the task of keeping WW safe and keeping parties coming. The Staff had to look through at least 50 candidates based on a couple of criteria.

Finally, after a couple of coffee servings, record-checking and eyebrow scratching, a few names remained on the list. The new trainee Party Masters are Coconut, PappyFlappy and Berry while Kongregate, Laser and Vintage are the new trainee Scouts. Meanwhile, some ‘candidates’ haven’t confirmed yet.

The 2nd batch of trainees will officially start their training on July 27, 2010.

Congratulations to our new Party Master and Scout trainees! Let us work together to keep WW a safe and fun place for everyone.

P.S. A gentle reminder to anyone who is aspiring to be a Scout/Party Master. Please don’t try to be one because you want to be famous… Fame’ burns out. Passion doesn’t. ~e

Wiglington & Wenks New Trainee Scouts & Party Masters

Hi Quest Travelers,

It’s been quite a while since the last time WW announced it’s first set of trainee Scouts and PMs, and of course, their graduation to full-fledged Scouts and Party Masters.

As it’s really a hard task to choose PMs and Mods–and it’s almost impossible to know at an early stage who, with the test of time, will shine above the rest and consistently perform his/her responsibilities with passion, the WW Team has decided to pick and announce the new trainees gradually through the upcoming weeks. No one-time, big-time announcement this time. : P

For this week, two Quest Travelers who have been with us for a very long time–and have consistently stayed with us through the ups and downs, have gladly accepted the huge task of keeping WW safe by being trainee scouts. New Trainee Scouts MySweetie and Test will start their training this Saturday. Let’s welcome them with cheers and a lot of support.

As mentioned, we’ll be announcing the rest of the Scout/PM candidates in the next couple of days/weeks. We would want to take our time on this. It might not be possible to make ‘perfect’ choices, but who knows?

Wiglington & Wenks STC Squad Mission #1 Update!

Have you checked the STC Squad Mission Headquarters today? I was there just a few minutes ago. The mission briefing for Phase 2 of Mission #1 has now been released!

According to the STC Squad Command, it’s confirmed that the missing Golden Statue is still on WW–that’s good news! But the better news is… we have to find it!

Time to snoop for some clues!

Hello Quest Travelers,

Get ready for some Wushu, WW style! Not familiar with that term? Here is a brief explanation -

‘Wu’ (written as ‘武’) means Martial while ‘Shu’ (written as ‘術’) translates to Arts and together, the word WuShu refer to a number of fighting styles that have been developed through the history of the Chinese.

Fighting styles are categorized by common traits identified as ‘Schools’, ‘Families’ or ‘Sects’ of WuShu. Examples of these traits include physical routines that mimic certain animals or training inspired by Chinese philosophies.
